McCourt Law Offices
Mark McCourt was born and raised in Edmonton, graduating with degrees in political science and law from the University of Alberta. With over 30 years of experience as a lawyer, Mr. McCourt has conducted numerous trials and has appeared at all levels of Alberta Courts (the Court of Justice, King’s Bench and Court of Appeal) as well as the Federal Court of Canada. Since founding McCourt Law Offices, Mark has helped resolve thousands of injury claims for innocent victims of careless drivers.
An accomplished author as well, Mr. McCourt's academic articles have been published in the Alberta Law Review, Saskatchewan Law Review, Manitoba Law Journal, Canadian Family Law Quarterly, Legal Medical Quarterly, and The Barrister.Mark has also appeared as a guest columnist in the Edmonton Journal, the Edmonton Sun, the Calgary Herald and the Alberta Report, and has been interviewed numerous times on injury law matters on television, radio and the print media, locally, provincially and nationally. In 2004, McCourt was named one of Alberta’s 50 most influential people by Alberta Venture magazine.
